High above the main street in town fat colorful butterflies fly in the breeze. Last year it was umbrellas… I don’t know why yet. Maybe a charity thing, like last year.
At midday, went into town for a cappuccino at my favorite cafe. Huge heads (ugly to my eye) loom all over the piazza. This exhibit goes for another few weeks. Then the cranes will come with different art.
Ah to be in Italy where culture and fine arts is historical, in the blood. Our rural West seems sterile by comparison. Dust and cowboy boots.
So happy to see the piazza, and know that you are there to enjoy the creativity of Pietrasanta, and share it with us. xoxo
What an interesting place! I actually think the butterflies are kind of cheesy, but I like the other stuff
Needle in a tree-stack?
Yes, they are a bit cheesy, but hey, they are colorful and fun. And provide some shade. 🙂
Do you mean in the “hair” of this statue?
