Recently I spent a day in San Francisco…
I began with Pier 24, the wonderful photography gallery. The show was “This Land” – photos of America taken in last ten years. Here are two photos, the second one shows a section of the wall.
After the show, I walked along the bay front. The sun was out, as were lots of runners fitting in some miles at lunch time. Lots of construction underway…
Outside the Ferry Building, the food tents were mobbed.
But if you missed the tents because your startup is on Bryant Street, the food trucks are lined up at noon.
A quiet lunch in the sun on an open pier under the bridge…
Waking back to my car, I looked up:
And then looked out into the bay:
Not everything has been fixed up and restored…
Good geometry for this shot:
Plenty of graffiti…
Finally, I left the downtown area and found a wonderful set of steps and a cool painted utility box.
